Multigraph Workshop Resources
- For creating and viewing Multigraph graphs on your local computer, without
a web server:

(named multigraph-2.0-NNN.zip) from the Multigraph Download
Page. After you have downloaded the file, unpack it into a
folder on your computer's disk.
- Visit the Flash Player Settings Manager and go through the following steps to configure your Flash Player to be able to load files from your computer's local disk:
- Click on the above link
- When the "Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager" appears, click
on the "Global Security Settings Tab" (3rd tab from the left)
- Click "Edit Locations"
- Click "Add Location"
- Click "Browse for Folder"
- Navigate to the folder where you unpacked the Multigraph distribution on your local disk, and click "OK"
- For creating graphs and scripts on the workshop web server (Linux):
- If you are comfortable with the Linux command-line shell and terminal
editors such as vi or emacs, you can connect to the server
with Putty. If you don't yet have Putty installed on your computer, download
putty.exe and place it on your desktop.
This is a standalone executable; no installation is needed.
- If you prefer to avoid the Linux command-line shell, download
winscp419.exe and place it on your
desktop. This is also a standalone executable. You can use
WinSCP to create and edit files on the Linux server from
your Windows system.
- Login to the machine workshop.multigraph.org using
either Putty or WinSCP with username and password given in the workshop.
